Canvassing Training Available July 8 – Learn How To Help the Candidates

As noted in an earlier post, canvassing is highly effective at GOTV – getting out the vote.  However many people are unsure about how to do it or even what’s involved.  Now training on canvassing is available.

The “Elect Cindy Cunningham for State Representative” campaign is hosting a canvass training workshop for anybody interested in learning to canvass for any Democratic candidate. The training will be given by Jake Hamilton, who regularly trains canvassers for the JB Pritzker campaign. Anybody who is planning to canvass for any Democrats in the area is welcome.

The training will take place at the Champaign Public Library, upstairs in room 222 on Sunday July 8, from 2-4 pm. More information at the Facebook event.
