Are you interested in helping to build power within the Black community of Champaign/Urbana? Join the Speak Truth Collective for a series of organizing workshops and political education classes hosted by local Black activists, artists, and students.
Combining communal education and grassroots organizing, we will be using these Saturday events to kick-off our organization of a Black community wide campaign that will be developed by all attendees in conjunction with the Speak Truth Collective. Topics of focus include Black history, health/wellness, local politics, and grassroots organizing.
