WEFT Fest: Live Music – CD & Vinyl Sale – Raffle and More…

WEFT is fortunate to have a core group of dedicated supporters in East Central Illinois and around the world who have proven their willingness to keep community radio alive. Every year, we like to get together with our supporters and listeners and host a free party!

This year’s WEFT fest is celebrating 37 years on the air, and will be held in the Seven Saints beer garden, next door to WEFT at 113 N. Market Street in downtown Champaign. Food and drink will be sold by Seven Saints, and there will be live music all day Sunday, September 16, 2 pm – 6 pm, featuring:  Paul Kotheimer, Gloria Roubal, Guaranteed Fresh (feat. members of Abnormous) and Aquila. You can also listen to the live broadcast at 90.1 FM or weft.org.

There will be lots of great raffle and silent auction items donated from two dozen local businesses, a CD and vinyl sale (you might find a gem!), and free birthday cake, too.

If you can make the event, GREAT! We look forward to seeing you! Whether you can or can’t attend, you can still make a donation in support of WEFT Community Radio, and to weft.org/support to make a donation of any amount.
