Also tomorrow, Monday 10/1 at noon, in Chicago there will be “A Rally Against the Dirty Power Plan” “Chicago will host the nation’s only hearing where the U.S. EPA will seek public comment on the administration’s plan to repeal the Obama-era Clean Power Plan and replace it with Trump’s Dirty Power Plan. Trump’s “plan” has no concrete emission reduction goals or standards that would actually require dirty power plants to cut down on dangerous pollution.” Check with Stuart Levy and the Sierra Club for info on carpooling/bus. https://www.facebook.com/events/2191452537799470/? Also Monday 10/1, at 6:15 pm, “Pack the Forum” at Danville Area Community College Convention Center For a Vermilion County candidates’ debate. There will be 3 debates. There are 2 debates that impact some of Champaign County:
1) The Il-104 state representative candidates is the first one on the docket. Many in CU live in Il-104.
2) The Il-15 congressional house candidates will also debate. Parts of Champaign County are in the Il-15.
3) The other debate is for Vermilion County clerk.

Wednesday, 10/3, there will be a workshop at the University YMCA at 6:30 pm “Addressing Sexual Violence in Activist Communities”.

Saturday, 10/6 Courage Connection will host a “10th Anniversary and Peace Jam” at 10 am at Connections in Lincoln Square in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
