Mark your calendars for a Champaign City Council candidate meet and greet! The Washington St. Neighborhood Organization, in partnership with other Central Champaign neighborhoods, is organizing a meet and greet event on Monday, March 11 6:30 pm -8:00 pm at the Springer Cultural Center, 301 N Randolph St, Champaign. If you live in Central Champaign (Old Town and immediate environs), come and meet candidates for the 3 at-large seats. You will have time to ask questions and see how they stand on issues that are important to you and your Central Champaign neighborhood.
When all is said and done, these will be the people who will have the power to make or break policy in our neighborhoods, so please educate yourself on how well their values match yours before voting. Refreshments will be provided.
