Politicians know that face-to-face canvassing is one of the most effective ways to reach potential voters. If you’d like to help Betsy Dirksen Londrigan unseat Rodney David and flip the 13th District, consider helping with canvassing for Betsy door-to-door in Champaign-Urbana. Volunteers with the campaign are here almost every Saturday in two shifts, 10 am – 1:00 and 1 pm – 4 pm. Meet at Betsy’s new office at 502 E John St, Champaign, IL to start. July 7 is the kickoff for the Saturday canvassing with scheduled opportunities on July 7, 11, 21, 28 and August 4, 11, 18 and 25. It’s work but people frequently find it rewarding to talk with people one-to-one.
