Save the Date: Young Activists Advocacy Summit in Springfield

The Day of YAAI Advocacy Summit is a day of community outreach and tool box building for young activists here in Central Illinois.

The summit will be on Saturday, September 22, 10:30 am – 3:00 pm, University of Illinois at Springfield Brookens Auditorium.

The Young Activists of Action Illinois are proud to present a summit involving a community fair from local, specialized activist organizations such as Black Lives Matter SPI, Students Demand Action, Springfield Immigration Action Network, and many more. This event is planned by young activists FOR young activists. Breakout sessions will include a panel on women in leadership, riding the #bluewave which will focus on GOTV for the midterms and a comprehensive resistance school for young activists with tips on how to navigate the activist arena. Join us for a day of community, activism, food and fun.
