Good Editorial by the News Gazette

On this day when many newspapers across the country are speaking out about freedom of the press, making the point that the press is NOT the enemy of the people.  The News Gazette has added their voice with this editorial at:  http://www.news-gazette.com/opinion/editorials/2018-08-16/editorial-allies-not-enemies.html. The last paragraph states: “The country and the president would be well served if he dialed down the rhetoric and recognized the service that journalists perform by doing their jobs and asking and answering questions on behalf of citizens.”
