Saturday, 9/22 Come to the Urbana Free Library for the Immigrant Welcome Awards Ceremony and Celebration at 3:30 pm. After the ceremony, there will be a continuation of the celebration at Stango restaurant, across the street at Lincoln Square.

Saturday, 9/22 Our progressive friends in Collinsville need help with “Paint(ing) the Hate Away”.
“An eyesore filled with spray painted images of hate will finally be painted over. We ask for citizens in our community to come together and help us cover up all of this hate and ugliness. Our Neighborhoods deserve better, and with our efforts, this community will be a little better off. Join us for a few hours and help make positive change in our local neighborhood.”

There are other events, canvassing/phone banking opportunities and candidate fundraisers this week. For more information, check out the WEFT Progressive Calendar at:

Have a great week.
