Religious, Spiritual & Secular Students: Your Input Needed! Interfaith Student Summit

Come join other students from various faith traditions to come together to talk about what faith development and interfaith engagement could look like at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Whether you are a religious/spiritual/secular leader on campus or an exploring student, you have a unique perspective to contribute to the discussion.

Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Dr. Danita M. B. Young, has identified “Religion and Spirituality” as a new focus area within the Division of Student Affairs. The Vice Chancellor has clearly stated that this aspect of our students’ lives is integral to their development and that Student Affairs has a role to play in supporting students as they explore, deepen, and express this dimension of themselves—their religious, spiritual, and secular identities. This is a follow-up to the Illinois Interfaith Campus Summit on October 3, 2018, designed especially to solicit the input from students.

The event is Tuesday, February 5th from 7-8:30pm at the University YMCA Murphy Lounge (1001 S. Wright St., Ch.) Facebook event
